Course summary and requirements
This qualification is aimed at experienced workers in a technical, managerial or supervisory role who are seeking to develop their competence and improve their skills and knowledge.
Suitable for the Relevant Jobs Roles:
- Responsive Maintenance Team Manager
- Voids Team Manager
- Disrepairs Team Manager
- Site Assistant Manager
It covers a variety of skills required to supervise people working in the construction sector, including planning work activities and resources, maintaining working relationships, coordinating and organising work and maintaining health and safety on-site.
Assessments at the end of the course will be an: Portfolio evidence.
No formal entry requirements needed must be aged 16 years or over and have basic knowledge of work supervision in construction.
Pre-requisites
This Vocational Qualification is aimed at people with access to sites and correct tools. They are able to undertake the work, and know, to some extent, the requirements to fulfil the criteria needs. These pathways would not be suitable for people without access to a range of areas required for this subject. If you are unsure if you do have the ability to obtain evidence, feel free to contact us.

There are two payment options for our courses:
- You can pay 50% upfront and 50% upon completion of the course.
- You can spread the cost of the course over 3 instalments.
Typical completion time is 4-6 months, and all learners are supported to complete within a 6-month timeframe, however this depends on how quickly you are able to meet the requirements of the NVQ. Our assessors can arrange calls, evidence gathering and assessments around your workload; the NVQ format is very flexible.

- you have 1-250 directly employed staff on the payroll
- any previous project paid for by the Skills and Training fund has been signed off as complete.
